Thought and Love
In the battle of thought and love Of the mind and of the heart Are they the same; like sand and mud? Like ice and water are hand and glove? Are maybe a lot further apart! I have heard it discussed in church and bars, Insightful opinions from the blind. I have heard that love by being thrall Very near possesses all. Is it a loving heart and not a thinking mind? I have looked to science to solve this quiz. I searched the books of anatomy. I conclude: It can not be this. The mind and heart can not be mixed. Love and thought, differ to me. Love being bound by a heart Confines itself to land and sky. Therefore can't be considered smart So often found to be quite tart. Love is love, cut and dried! However I find no limits on thought It is free to cross both space and time. Unlike love which is tied to a heart Thought is all but what God hath wrought. Yet superior not to love I find.
