A Sound
I tell you in all of this, this and that. There is a thesis, an antithesis, and a synthesis. I tell you in all of this, this and that. There is a thesis, an antithesis, and a synthesis. Black, White, Brown. Good, Evil, Salvation. Right, Wrong, Humility. Free Market, Communism, Sharing. Afrocentrism, Feminism, Womanism. Love, Hatred, Transformation. Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis. Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis. My King was a Luther, though not Lutheran. And he believed in thesis, antithesis, synthesis. And I serve him. My Queen was a slave, and she was raped over and over yet survived to raise her children. And she believed in thesis, antithesis, synthesis. And I serve HER. My Savior was a Jew and a Gentile. Jew by birth, Gentile by acceptance. And he believed in thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. My Lord is a Woman and a Man. And She believes in thesis, antithesis, synthesis. My heart is tormented and joyful, empowered and defeated. And it believes in thesis, antithesis, synthesis. We are the children of insanity. But we, the brown, the black, the beautiful rejected. We are chosen to bring balance. Through thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. Because in the end. There is a sound. Because in the end. There is a sound. A sound of truth that will not be denied. And that will lead us to the other side.
