No Clue What They Want
"No Clue What They Want" By: Andrew Stroud I've heard girls complain, And I've heard them cry, About all they want to do, Is find just one good guy.... I've heard them talk, And I've heard them describe, Everything they look for, In their "perfect guy". They'll say, "He has to open doors, and hold me when I cry, I want a guy who'll hold me tight, and stare deep into my eyes." Then they'll describe sweet things, like kissing in the rain, and say it feels like electricity, shooting through their veins. They say that's all they want, Is to find just one good guy, Well no offense to any women, But I think that's a lie. Because I've opened doors, And I've opened my arms, I've tried to protect girls, From all kinds of harms. I've kissed in the rain, I've danced in headlights, I've let girls win arguments, Even though I was in the right. They've said, "You're way too sweet, and I think I'm starting to fall." Then they'll go back to their ex-boyfriends, who don't treat them well at all. So the days of the "Southern Gentleman", are slowly fading away, but it's not because of the men, it’s the women changing our ways.
