Tasha Marie She came into the world thru love Blond hair, blue eyed from heaven above In my sister she grew and changed Settling wild child down, replacing her pain Only nine months old, full sentences pronounced Bright. happy, inquisitive, full of baby bounce Pride for her mom, joy for her gramma I missed out busy w my own~ gosh dammit! She grew old and wise in a family of drought Saw thru delusions, staying real w/o doubt Struggling w herself w so little left to give A young lady fighting to find her reason to live Hard working, responsible, by 20 a boss But within her struggle, all that a loss She kept plodding on, kept learning and growing Never really taught that surrounded by those not knowing She was the bestest big sister one could ever dream An even greater cousin to one in need So many close and near, she was still alone Then came the sun, she finally found her home Home was a kind, loving man named Voss He dried her years of pain, shook away her loss She took his arm when he asked for her hand forever more Just found out they'll be three soon, by life's end~ a family of four.
