Old grandpas with jumpy knees they shrink you down and bounce you all you please Grand ma shouts wash your hands at the fountain there wash your face and comb your hair Dinner is ready and boy its good Now hurry before its cold if you would Back yard raised fried chicken and real buttered corn on the cob Mashed potatoes and gravy and thanks first to God Green beans and apple pie cold milk to spare No ones a stranger so pull up a chair It's all waiting there for you It's there in your heart and easy to get to Just remember the good child hood times and sing and remember those fun childhood rhymes
