My Pain, Your Gain
Here I go again Your slave- with a home in the rain It’s been flooding here I can’t see a thing with pleasure to hear You’ve had my heart slain, slain and slain And now I know this trimming tattoo With that look in your heart- you know it too That my pain is your gain Why do you like it much when it’s raining? I see you watch from a distance with neck craning Under a shelter and warm blanket After throwing the mouse, Out of your house, Given just a tattered small blouse For shelter from the stormy rain! Yeah, from this rain in my brain The storm and the rain They both bind me in spiral chain I needed you in the morning When it was brightly shining You needed me till afternoon’s sun But when it started boiling and bubbling Raging in fire that started burning Raging fire that ceased in the evening I was there under your care but you smiled at my pain Confirming that my pain is your gain When you left me outside in the rain In the rain of my endless tears
