A blade of grass pokes through After the droughts and then rains fall Surely there was a plan Surly there’s a design to it all. I see the tears drops fall As one is taken from them in death If this was supposed to happen Would we really breathe our last breath? The pain it leaves when one is gone But what is one to do? There must be a reason For all we see and do. From birth to death there is food for all Yet we see baby’s born in innocence For them to live and suffer Really makes no sense In the good book the word of God It’s written for us to read Surely there must be something there Our battered senses plead. If God made the earth And then made earthling man I suppose we must trust He really has a plan. For the Bible tells us Of God and his attributes The word tells us we are in his image And surely God tells the truth So what and who is God Will we ever know?
