The Hands of Another
The Hands of Another, It all starts with my mother inviting in rough hands of another, ones trying to discipline saying their trying to be like a father. Oh Lord, please save me from those heavy hands of another. The words are sharp these names I was not given from the start, but they cut deep into my heart. They enter through the holes in my head and go straight to my brain. These words come from the insane an evil tongue, they bruise like a sharp hand from a crazy man. I close my eyes and pray to God to take me before my time. For I know my life is short my days are numbered by the brutal hands of another. Where is my lord, or my heavenly father. The beatings get harder and the bruises get darker and my tears fall and I ask to end the pain from the hands of another. The pills from my mother and the razor from the heavy hands of another goes straight to my vein now I'm free from that son of bitch that calls himself a father. By Rowdy Yates
