The Littlest Turtle
The littlest turtle was hatched on the beach among a batch of eggs but was left behind when all his brothers and sisters made it to the shore and then into the sea. He was so afraid he would be eaten by the birds or the fish but there was something special about this turtle. He didn't know he was magic he had special power when the moon glow fell on him he would grow strong and could make to the shore if only he could stay out of sight till night fall and the moon came up and so his trip begain to get to the shore and not become dinner for anyone else. First he saw a sand crab and had to hide in a cup. Then this child came along and picked up the cup and played with it for a while and left it futher backup the beach. His struggle was tuff a bird swooped down and grabbed him in his beak while another bird saw what was going on and attacked and he fell to the ground and got under the boardwalk he could hear two blue crabs fighting under there. He prayed to the sea god to save him and just then a wave wash under the boardwalk pushing him back out on the sand up the beach and he had to run for the cup again. He prayed to neptune why did you do that when he looked out to sea. He saw the fish feeding and he hoped it wasn't on his brother's and sister's and then he thanked neptune for sparing him that fate. he waited in the cup until night fall and all was calm and neptune had let the moon shine bright. As the littlest turtle came out of the cup he was unaware that with each step he took he grew in size and by the time he reach the water he was the size of a 20 year old turtle and would never be in danger again.
