Smile
Smile Kiara Lebel Sunlight rays glistening into the peaks of time, like the moon lit your room with a light so perfect Miles from where you stand I feel you next to me, hiding me from my darkness, telling me to smile because any other expressions were not aloud in your presence I remember when I would pull you close to me, so close that the beatings of our hearts combined, that even the thinnest sheet of paper would have to be forced between us Leaning on me because of the weight you've been forced to carry on your shoulders, pulling me out of the darkness but pushing yourself in, don’t give up Eye to eye, I see you trapped inside these doors locked with chains, you're letting the menace win, so when I see the tears fall from your eyes I pull you close and say smile babe, don’t cry
