Hello-Goodbye
The bad habits still exist, The voices I hear still persist, I try not to listen, I try to resist, So I keep on hearing them but I never get the gist, My mind and heart have been fighting, due for a tryst, As I fight to untwist your clench on my wrist, There is nothing much worse than being dismissed, But you can't enter my heart, you're just not on the list, You attempt to snag my hearts strings, reminding me of the first time we kissed, each memory is futile, far from changing my mind just making me pissed, Still you try to hold on, clinging, like a tick or a cyst, And still never giving credit for the things I have risked, You try to hide them but i see true intentions through mist, You might think they will stop me, but all your words just sound hissed, If you wanna fight this war go ahead, I refuse to enlist, But I'll tell you goodbye one more time, I'm sure I'll be missed, ...And I'll throw deuces in the air cause my words are my fists.
