Cross Roads
Cross Roads Dear Lord here I sit at the cross roads of my life Each way I look all I can see is heartache and strife. One road is bumpy, muddy and full of potholes The other has murders, thieves and hungry lost souls. Lord are these my choices? Is this all I get? One full of murdering thieves and the other full of regret? What is the purpose of me even to leave this spot? One is too treacherous and the other I would surely get shot. This is so unfair Lord you have given me no real choice. God where are you? Can’t you hear the fear in my voice? I started to cry and my whole body started to shake. This is my life Lord and I know I have made mistakes. I ask for forgiveness and will trust you will show me the way. I was about to choose what was given to my utter dismay. Still feeling defeated and not seeing his true purpose for me. I began my journey by leaving pride behind and walking with humility. So I guess your wondering. Did he go to the left or to the right? It’s was neither but upward towards the heavenly light.
