Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Although I define myself a poet, I tend to write like a high school student, When I first started writing poems, I never knew anything about the forms, So any poem that I wrote, Always had a plain feeling towards them, I went through a heartbreak, That did the most damage to me, Which made me lose my love to writing, I was lost inside a box of scrambling words, But could never connect them into lines, Years of recovery from this pain, I finally found the strength, To pick up the pen and write what I first started to love, What is a sonnet, a haiku, a ballad, This is all new to me, But very interesting to know, As I learn and teach myself how to write, I write on here not to just show my poems, But to meet poets that are willing enough to give great advice, On how to become a better poet, Honesty is what I look for, Not just a that's a good poem, If you don't like nor understand what my poems, Please feel free to speak your mind, I love your honest opinions, Now with that being said from this non poem, I can't wait to meet you all, Learn from you all, Watch me grow, And love my poems just as much I will love yours.
