Eye Contact
Soft strokes through your velvety golden brown hair Enhanced by your smile that creates such a beautiful glare I am in paradise when your arms grip around my waist Vow to never let go of this love all my life I have chased Tender kisses in the brightly lit night sky Praying softly that those lips never once will say goodbye My dreams are invaded from the thought your gentle touch I never fathomed in my mind that one could care for another so much Tears fall from my chin like raindrops from the heavens above I've been so many other places and have yet to find a greater love I brush my tongue upon my lips to taste your sweet kiss I hesitate briefly to enjoy this heavenly bliss My soul clings to my body not wanting to leave just yet I refuse to let this joy I feel fall in a deep hole of regret I try to walk away but somehow fate forbids I can't even stop staring at those angelic, hazel drops beneath your eyelids
