When a Hell's Angel Gets Old
When a Hell’s Angel Gets Old By Elton Camp Zeke joined the gang when eighteen Roaring down the road was so keen A Harley was the only thing he’d ride And sneered if a family sedan he spied “A motorcycle I’ll ride all my life With my old lady, never with a wife.” He loved to see folks cringe with fear Anytime he happened to come near He liked drinking beer and smoking pot Concerned for his future, he was not “I’ll ride the roads until the day I die So always remain a very fearsome guy.” Despite the life for which Zeke did yearn, Time proved to be the fire in which all burn Eventually, he became old and gray And had to put his motorbike away The front he attached to his wheelchair For about the open road he did so care The chair shows how he still does feel With its headlight, handlebars and wheel In Wal-Mart on Zeke’s shopping day Folks quickly move out of his way
