Once Upon a Love Story
This heart was once a bed of roses But now the flowers are withered. And no glue can mend it. The morning dew will fall aground And the butterflies will die of thirst Because all the roses are gone. This heart was once a wall of defense But now it is broken in pieces No builder can rebuild it. The ties that bounds is broken And the center can no longer hold Sadly, things are fallen apart. This heart was once the home of smiles and beauty But now overtaken by tears and frowns No makeups can change it. The betrayal of a friend is so hurting And trust is a treasure now missing I doubt if love can happen once again. Written & Authored by: Ebenezer O.
