Ride From a Stranger
There was an old man with a long white beard and matching mustache, driving a red convertible with a white interior. He was driving down a long dirt road, trees on either side. He pulls up next to me by a black mailbox. It was a sunny day and a big blue sky. I accept a ride from a stranger, our destination was a ranch. We get out of the car to look inside the paddock. Inside the paddock there were beautiful mares, Palominos with white flowing manes. A rancher opens the wooden gates to let the studs in. Later that same day I am in a classroom, sitting in between two beautiful girls with the same white flowing hair as the Palominos. Two nuns are trying to teach us a bout the reality of how some men truly are verses what we wish them to be. There's a blackboard with words written on it... words I can't make out. But I'm sure that I will understand what was written when it's the right time. by S.E. Clark
