Age of Reasons
I often wonder if I’m still in love Is there that age to consider it superficial? The age of reason to define one’s worth As suppose to how life can sometimes seem artificial In today’s world, status is no longer a walk in the park Requires a great length as well great feats to accomplish To finally be deem worthy the jewel to the heart How many would be willing to see rules abolish? Everyone needs something these days Perhaps even the simplest peasant won’t settle for nothing less Conjuring various schemes in devious ways Towards a heart’s content, perhaps no one shall ever rest The demand, the need, the desired, the cause Are we learning to push harder, are we learning to fall down? Unknowingly we are found, unsuspectedly we are lost Isn’t there that age whence promised a come around? An older age can perhaps conclude one’s worth Laughing at life we know to be regarded artificial Yet... will I still wonder if I’m in love? Perhaps the many ages shall yet stage the superficial
