Journey
A Window Opened, a mid-day breeze, Heartfelt compassion fallen down its knees. Hearts at a standstill, not moving at all, Screaming aloud “I’m weak and I’ll fall”. Winters come, cold breezes brought in, Chills in the body of your closest kin. A weak red rose not moving on its own, Makes you really wonder what you have done wrong. Hypothetical thinking, maybe not thinking at all, Maybe thinking critical will make then call. A window closed, no noon-day breeze, It’s really kind of hard fallen on your knees. Giving into pain, blood not connecting at heart, Loosing a friend who was there from the start. The moon is full, no sun shines, Grassy roads cut without sticks and pines. Life’s a big puzzle, struggling piece by piece, A precious girl born who’s a daughter and a niece. Leaves fall from trees, wither then die, A casket built of tears with a pink ribbon sigh.
