Hurricane Wilma
As we watched her from across the sea, an eerie feeling came over me. Her sisters we had met before, so happy were we when they left our shore. Slow and seductive she stayed on her course. Taunting and teasing having no remorse. For days she haunted us, we had not a clue. None of us knew what she might do. Nervous we watched her and prayed for the best. Hoping she was not like the rest. Katrina and Rita her sisters were named, her we named Wilma in hopes she was tame. Then as she eased upon our shores, we boarded the windows and bolted the doors. The rain it did pour, the wind it did wail, some houses were flooded by this tropical gale. Soon it was over, we all looked outside. The power was gone, many trees lay aside. But happy we were that she had not seemed, as mad and mean as her sisters had been.
