Dear Sorrow
Dear, dear sorrow, mistress of the humanly pain, Breaker and crusher of souls, destroyer of faith, My feelings towards you are compassion and envy, Never alone, there’s always someone with thee. The glorious summer of love hath now turned late, Lonesome souls wonder the earth seeking, searching, But all they’ll ever get is back stabbing betrayal and hate. I’ve knew ye well, oh mistress, for you have been visiting Me, giving all the “pleasures” of life since I was born. And never have I addressed you about what I used to think. Never have I told you: “My heart ripped and my soul is torn”, Never have I mentioned, that I wanted to kill myself, Never have I spoke the words “Grief” and “Mourn”. Always wanting to be the best book on the shelf, Always trying not to lose dignity and confidence, Always being Santa’s kindest, and best little Elf. I owe you many thanks, especially for your patience, Might this be my final letter to thee… Before I lose everything, including my pure sense. You will never again find me, For I will no longer be… – Alas now I’m free –
