I Wish
I wish life wasn't so complicated, I wish my mother chose me over being intoxicated. I wish i could change my past, I wish I could erase my memories so the pain won't always last. I wish I could forgive my sister, I wish she would have protected me instead of enjoying it when that man kissed her. I wish I knew my father, I wish they never told me that he thinks i'm nothing but a bother. I wish I could repaint my life, I wish that at the age of ten I didn't try to use that knife. I wish I never loved that man, I wish he didn't hit me to prove that he was my man. I wish I could meet the right one, I wish I never aborted, what could have been my daughter or son. I wish I could make people understand, I wish I never did the things to hear the word remand. I wish I wasn't so afraid of myself, I wish I was strong enough to deal with myself, and know that i'm not by myself. I wish I knew me, I wish without a word or explanation, all my pain, anger and grief, you could see.
