Seeping Through
I wanted the old me back so bad well it's seeping through so fast I can feel it bubbling in my pores The old me Individual lonley Me The one who didn't need anyone else In fact the less the better she felt I'm starting to remove the mask The mask I put on myself I'm starting to let myself go I'm starting to cry again To finally feel the pain that I have kept sunken in I'm starting to feel afraid again Afraid of what lonliness can mean I'm scared facing it will defeat me I need friends to believe That's not what the old me was about But the old me was about cracking Peeling Losing Never winning The old me was about sinking I am done with that route I've worked too hard to go back now I won't allow the old me to fill in the gaps Destroy the happiness that I brought about I can feel the old me seeping through It feels kind of good but disaster lies ahead It won't end the way you think I won't sink
