Terror Preservation
rumors are buzzing that the brains at Uppsala Univ., Sweden, have stumbled upon a way to eliminate unwanted memories---that the attempt at getting rid of horrifying memories is now becoming reality, as shocks of electricity get thumped into the heads of human lab rats in question, so as to stop the hardwired formation of fears before they solidify in proteins & this has got anybody who has flipped through Loriga’s masterpiece, “Tokyo Doesn’t Love Us Anymore,” wondering if these scientists had sat down with the book & used it as a manual--- for this isn’t how it should be, after all, we need the preservation of terror, we need to have memories of horror in order to remind us of the balance that is life--- certainly, if one puts their hand on a burner & fries it, but now they can erase the memory of doing so, said individual may very well do it again---for wouldn’t it be so easy to send soldiers off to war who wouldn’t remember the horror?---they’d be perfect human machines, killers without memory, killers without guilt & killers without a need to even try & compartmentalize what murderous deeds they have committed with their very hands in the name of nationalism or patriotism or whatever ****ing excuse one can pull off the shelf at any given time.
