Memories
Images flood my head of a time once known. For all to eternity my heart has turned to stone. Painful, irradic realms of darkness cosume, A heavy, burdened heart is laid in it's tomb. For loved ones perished like a dash in the night, Only nightmares seem to grasp on so tight. As I look to the Moon, and wonder why.... The silver emulates it's beauty from the sky. What do I have to show for my life? The only answer that I can give, "it's a knife." A sharp, double-edged dagger driven into my heart, As it twist and turns, churning my surroundings in fragments, timy parts, My breath becomes heavy with the fog, as it stands there stagnant. My mind starts to flash my life, in a movie like fashion.... As my mind dwindles, and my consciousness is weary, I know this day is going to leave others dreary, I am going to a place far better than this, So as I say my silent condolences, and all wrongs made right, I think to myself this is just pure bliss. As my final breath comes to my side, and death is coming to claim it's remains, When my final breath is exherted from the frames that I was held captive in.... I will remember one thing, I did all that I could to be me.
