Him
Him She looks at his picture Not proud of her self She gets up the sofa Put it back on the shelf She makes a cup of tea A lonely bed up stairs She looks in the mirror And brushes her hair Reach over to the lamp Turns it dim And how she hates her self For loving him If he didn’t come after her She won’t be hurting But she blames her self Should have know he was just flirting He sends her flowers Said she’s so beautiful But it was all talk Just a pack of bull She was in the shade Staying out of the fire Then he comes along Saying she’s the one he desire Give her coconut water Sit and talk on the sand He know she was vulnerable So played his hand Take her dancing Then entered her home Then he gets a call Was his wife on the phone? The sun comes thru her window Nice day for a swim And she change in her bath suit She hates her self for loving him She learns her lesson Was afraid of loneliness But now she knows only you Responsible for your own happiness She gets a phone call It’s her sister from New York She, coming to visit Going to have some girl talk They goes jugging The past by the gym And she feels happy She was over him
