The Fate of the Seductress
O' what wondrous visions doth this lovely woman dream such wicked display of wanton perversion theme She fancies a flirtatious rendezvous with immortal, untouchable death but doth her soul ready herself to take that final trembling breath? O' what wondrous visions doth this mortal thing weave such flights of passion that bereft conscious leave She tempts her end as the seductress doth pursue in her base lust for destruction her damnation will embue O' what wondrous visions doth this acursed mortal create such pity is a thing that wishes with Death to consort and mate She revels in her resplendent ravishment as her spirit wans her body shudders upon her deathbed in final quaking pains O' how callous and unwise was she to love the shadowed shade with the wanton demons her lavished bed is now made She tempted the fates with her fleshly spoils and in the end her soul withers from the candle, shuns the light, and recoils.
