The Apocalypse Apartments
word on the street is that the rich of the empire want to be safe & sound when the sky falls, when their “god” spits on humanity breeding “hellfire,” or when the nukes fly or the ground breaks up like it always does in the movies--- be it the Mayan calendar bull*****or the polar shift, etc., hollywood has scared even the rich & powerful into their cute little bunkers--- no doubt, these are the same folks who are building their little self-sufficient island/boat countries off the coasts of their former nations in international waters, so as to avoid undergoing the laws & oppressive conditions that the rest of us get to enjoy. having all bought themselves apocalypse apartments which have been built in the old missile silos still hanging around after the cold war somewhere in the middle of kansas, the spending of between 2 & 7 million seems to be a small price to pay for the ability to sit nestled 174 feet underground with 9 feet thick walls of concrete separating them wheat from us chaff. guess that while one is gearing up to go & plunder the boat/islands off the coast, us legions & legions of pissed-off compadres can make a pit stop now at the silos to get us some of the booty denied us all of these decades since reagan.
