Narcissistic Parent
dear dear narcissistic parent, no one gives a *****about your kid--- just because you wanted to be a parent just because that is what you envisioned for yourself as the pinnacle of your existence because you gave up on everything else far too early so as to try & mold another you, through popping them out like pez from a dispenser--- how vain does one have to be to believe that they can breed an upgrade of themselves? how vain does one have to be to self-impose their will upon their own child? all the while wondering if they will live up to your expectations all the while trying to steer them in the direction that you never followed through on yourself. did you want to be a parent or did the condom break? did you play “russian roulette” & throw caution to the wind gambling on at least 18 years of another human being’s life because you wanted to roll in the hay? did you create something of which you will always be responsible for creating, on a ****ing whim? the world does not need another body it needs bodies that care about the world.
