Oh the Delight of Me
Oh the sheer delight of being with me I am allowed to be free when I’m with me Oh I’m truly ticked off to a tee When I’m out with thee instead of me You’re mean and churly, you chew me out By crickey is that what love’s about You drive me crazy and I’m going insane I’m in pain, and you say I’m inane You’re my Tarzan handsome and brave I’m the court jester, Mother, lover and slave It’s fetch this, get this, come here, now go there Taint fair even in bed I have to stroke your hair Then there’s sex , Oh we have our share of that I wonder what it’s like to have a little chat Yes you’re in and out of my life every day So why don’t you try to be light and gay Oh the wondrous joy of being with me Oh the utter delight to be free of thee I’d never shout and I’d never pout And about my needs I would never doubt I’d buy me chocolates, candy and a big red rose Mink coats, diamonds and I’d even propose Pity to end this ditty with this hypothesis Loves not fair and the bliss of his my nemesis
