You’ll be completely safe— For you are living under grace. God’s law is his character— A law of love that glorifies. Each soul who walks in grace— Knows our loving Saviour justifies. The mercy seat’s an ark of beauty; Compassion is found there. God’s presence in his sanctuary; No greater glory to compare. When God’s presence left the temple, There was no more mercy for Israel; Destroyed in AD 70; Her people found death and toil. God’s mercy seat of love Whispers to each soul— An invitation to glorification; A life that’s pure and whole. In his mercy, he forgives us, Should we fall under the law.
