Sunshine and Rainbows
s/he waits for the next storm silently in her/his dwelling alone, without decision, without fear, without any sense of meaning (as others may pretend to walk about with)--- s/he does this because when the storm comes, it destroys, it brings the extravagance of the few down to the level of the many & in doing so, it makes way for something else---s/he knows that at this point in time something else is better than everything else & in that, a unique moment of clarity is attained. the storm may be physical, it may stem from the environment around said individual--- it may also come from within a tornado of emotions convulsing together in the attempt to break down the person from within whom they roam inside. the storm ends, like all storms, as s/he knows there is no permanent pain because pain itself loses its bite once you get used to it---from this point s/he knows that only something different can follow & however horrible the nature of everything that bogs said individual down may be, s/he knows that with each battle overcome, the strength within only thickens, the ability to survive any kind of calamity (no matter where it comes from) only greatens. the coming storm outweighs all sunshine & rainbows, because it promises change.
