If I can't understand me, then I can't understand you. What I thought I've felt, what I thought I've known. Feeling betrayed and hollow because I stand alone. If the sky that I look upon, should crumble and fall. I'll be here waiting for you, standing proud and tall. Even as twisted thoughts spin around my head. There won't be a single tear, that you'll see me shed. As I watch all the hills crumble down to the sea. I cradling the broken glass, that has become me. Looking at the pieces, full of my life and my disdain. All glass breaks, maybe that's why its called a window pane. As the world and all I know crumbles around my feet. I should have known better, that one day we'd never meet.
