Precious
She lit up the room that day at the ball Shortness of breath & a word at the end of the hall The door shut tight in a mediocre vault To pronounce the coming newly elected queen elect Precious With adorable eyes & smile We all knew all the while In love the foretaste of the devine Many just want to look good while standing in line Precious In the twilight hour when we look deep into her eyes We can then see a great future A future filled with both hope & promise For a much brighter & better tommorrow Amidst the given sorrow In fragrant lavender shutter's spent Illumination We looked to the sea with the enivatable reality Vast domains of sheltered pilgrims that bask in the great ambiance of the day Precious will stay in our hearts alway Through trial and error precious took steps in life to recapture A given sense of inner happiness through love & hope To cherish a red rose in a delicate way To ever bow the knee by which to pray Precious & few are the moments we used to share Yet in the end it was Precious who knew what it was in how she really cared
