Revised Contest Rules
REVISED CONTEST RULES What to Submit? One original poem on the theme of anything you like. I could specify a theme, but if you wish to completely ignore my specification, and are a personal friend, that’s ok. The only form acceptable for this contest is rhyme, but for friends, anything will be ok, for example, cheese/chair/shore/cholera/sheet/child/will/bully/yolks/green/big , are rhymes. Name and the date. No name on the poem. I like to seem to be judging blind. However, you may simply phone or email me to tell me which is your entry. Prizes The first three or four places are already allocated to my personal friends, but all may enter, and you will possibly receive a dishonorable mention. Preparing Your Entry Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. English Language Poems should be in English. However, spelling is an option, as usual. Please feel free to spell “Your/You’re/yore” any way you wish; and of course “choose/chose” are interchangeable, as also “their/there/they’re”. A Note to Poetry Contestants You are welcome to enter this contest, but don’t hold your breath for winning. If you won a prize in one of my previous contests, it’s more than likely, nay certain, that you will win again here. …………………………………………………………..
