Kennys Bull
I married the farmer’s daughter I’m mostly a city boy The farm is in South Dakota A visit is such a joy When my brother-in-law Kenny Asked if I wanted to go Help with two bulls we’ve got to move Of course, I’ll go with the flow The bulls were loaded in a truck Went to a ramp to unload I was just watching, not a help Bulls looked ready to explode If two bulls are put together They get nervous and upset Snorting as they came down the ramp Appeared to be covered with sweat They were moving on down the shoot I was there walking behind When one turned around and went back I found myself in his line Kenny yelled, “Get out of there quick” I felt a knot in my gut Grabbed the top, one foot on the rail When I was hit in the butt That bull, he wasn’t mad at me But I was there in his way Can’t believe the power he had Remember it to this day I really flew over the fence Holding the top rail real tight My feet were straight over my head Like a gymnasts taking flight Then what dignity I had left Was mostly taken away I landed in a soft cow pie All over me it did spray My brothers-in-law were concerned Then saw that I was OK They laughed so hard the tears rolled down Hosed me with a power spray Kenny stills talks about the time His Bull butted me so high I was thrown clear over the fence Into a juicy cow pie
