Sea of Words
She was 15 and he was 45 when everything fell apart in my life. My step dad was having fun with my best friend. When you came into the picture. Thinking there relationship would cause tension They told me it was better if, I found a new place to reside. I was 16 a junior in high school, when they threw me out. You were 19 with a dead end job. With no help from anyone never knowing where our next meal was coming from. You and me we hung on. As life stood knocking at our door. Not sure how we were going to pay the rent once more. out of options we were so we lived in the car. With everything in storage at your moms. Clothes in the trunk no one offered to help us out. Until that Christmas day we met a man who said ok. With only half of the security deposit and nothing else. He helped us out. I was 16, with a lot to prove. You were 19, trying like hell. 14 yrs later we're still together. No matter what life throws at us, we'll hang on forever. cory long 6-26-2011 sea of words contest
