My Lost Love
In a moment, our lives were changed; a tragic twist of fate. My smart, strong man, on his way over; as usual, running late. Never anticipating when I received that call They told me you were in an accident and the tears started to fall. Unresponsive, rushed to surgery, massive injury to your brain. You were in a coma, on life support; but you weren’t the only one in pain. It is almost too much to bear, you are here but you are gone. Time passes, tears still fall; neither of us can move on. Your recovery has been miraculous; you weren’t expected to make it through. I see you every day; but I still miss you. The man that could debate any topic; the man that could fix it all That man may never come back to me; memories are getting harder to recall. So thankful that you are still here, but I can’t help but feel this way I miss my love, I miss my friend, I miss the man I lost that day. By: Melissa L. Farrow 6/14/11
