Tomorrow
Tomorrow is another day, They seem to come and go. At times they slip away so fast, But others seem so slow. Tomorrow; it's a funny thing. We plan, we worry, we pray, Yet all the while we forget, That we are here today. We seem to spend our days In worry for tomorrow, Completely unaware Of the trouble that we borrow. And when tomorrow finally comes, We'll worry about the next. With this constant trouble, We're constantly perplexed. Don't you know, my friend, Life only comes in days? We only live them once We never get replays. These days, you see, are only A little chunk of time And wasting them in worry Is nothing short of crime. So when we take the burden Of tomorrow's load, Perhaps it is this worry That quickly makes us old. But when we focus on today And do all that we can, Tomorrow's just another day To perfect this plan. And when tomorrow finally comes, We all will simply be Prepared to face another day; More apt to see it's beauty.
