He was there within the room when I took my first breath of fresh air upon leaving Mother’s womb. For nine long months she’d carried me to the little church on Sunday, where she listened to the gospel words which were not forgotten Monday. My whole childhood was one of love and learning of God with wonder. A bond was forged so fast with Him it could not go asunder. I went to a little country school. The teacher started our day with prayer. There were no laws then that would forbid her true love of God to share. There have been many precious people who have been glad to show the way. Guided by love with every step there has been no need to stray. “For God so loved the world he gave His only begotten son that for whomsoever believes in him eternal life is won". The Bible verses are still there, upon which I have based my life. Reading His word led me to be a better mother and wife.
