Lie
I loved you so much But you destroyed my trust I never know when you’re telling a lie You’re making me go out of my mind You build my hopes up so high Then you go and make me cry Your eyes show an innocence few have ever known But at the same time they’re as cold as stone I look around but you’re nowhere I remembered a time when you cared I want to trust you, I really do Why do you lie to me? I never lie to you I hate how you can lie so well And I can never even tell You always fool me with those trusting eyes But you’ll soon find out, every lie has it’s price I can see the texts that you send back and forth You think I don’t know what’s going on, of course You don’t understand the pain it makes me feel It’s like I’m trapped in a nightmare that feels so real I’ve begun to see a darker side of me When she texts you and you’re with me I can see the smile you hide in your eyes You think you fooled me, you think I bought your lies I don’t want to drag this on If this lying is going to keep going on Tell me the truth once and for all Is she just a friend to you, is that all?
