We Will Be Alright
We’ll Be Alright In Dedication To: Joseph D. Miller It sure seems to me lately That I screw up everything My life is like a circus And I’m in the center ring All day long they watch me Till the tent comes crashing down Laughing he can’t do it He’s nothing but a clown But I don’t think it’s funny Cause I try with all my might Yet no one will believe me When I say we’ll be all right I know it won’t be easy And I’ll know I did my best Cause life has been my teacher And it’s always trying to test My strength and my endurance Every day and every night I don’t care if they believe me I know we’ll be all right They stand up on their pedestals So high they’re in outer space And none of them can see the man Behind this painted face But that don’t really matter Because even with their spite From now until forever I know we’ll be all right If any of those people Really wished my kids the best They’d stop condemning me to failure And push me toward success Those people who keep smiling Until they think they’re out of sight Then say they don’t believe me When I say we’ll be all right By: Jeremy Siedlecki
