As i look back on my life with quiet affection The paths ive crossed in a new direction The goals ive achieved the ladders ive climbed The parties ive enjoyed as the new years chimed The women ive loved theres been so many My very first wage earning my very first penny And as i grew up and i settled down I lived life to the full never wearing a frown The day i got married to my beautiful wife It got better and better what a wonderful life Then came the children could it be more fulfilling Yeah we had some hard times but got through them with gods willing So as i sum up and make sense of it all Me and my family are having a ball But.......somethings not clicking it doesnt feel quite right What am i doing on this bridge tonight ? And then it all floods back to when things started going bad The moment i stopped taking drugs as a fad The more tracklines appeared the harder it was to stop I remember it all now im freefalling in mid drop All the good times recounted im starting to lose track My wife my kids my life flashback The proudest day of my life giving away my daughter Ive got seconds to live now i can see the water
