The Dark Side
The Dark Side I cannot keep my mind out of the darkness My eyes keep slipping into the black abyss My soul is torn, not knowing which way to go It’s so confusing, my body is going to blow I try to stay away from negative vibes But they feel so right, drift away from the light I truly believe in and have love for god He’s always been there for me, no doubt But I feel the calling from down below The evil thoughts in my mind continue to grow I’d never think of hurting another person If it happened to me, there’d be nothing worse than But there’s something there I can’t describe A darkness in my soul which I cannot be rid So far I’ve been staying on top of the game But I’m self destructive, myself I will maim For right now I’m doing pretty well Unfortunately, my past will likely land me in hell If I stay on the right path I should be ok, you do the math
