Little Sister Lies
“who ate the last cookie?!” Mom would yell aloud, “it was the little bratty one!” I would stand up proud. “who spilled koolaid on the floor?!” Mom would scream with glee, As I pointed at my sister, I would say, “wasn’t me!” “who fed the dog ice cream?!” Mom would yell glaring at us, “I told her not to do it mom, But all she wanted to do was fuss.” So yeah my sister takes the blame Every now and then, But it’s about time I started getting pay back, I mean gosh she’s already ten! But who knew my torture had turn to teachings, And a little master mind was starting to grow. I never thought I’d see the day, When the world started spinning so slow… Then my parents were gone late one night, And my sister said she needed to go out. There was a crash, and now I realize What that crash was all about. “who took the car out last night And completely crunched in the side?!” My sister, pointing, said with innocence, “don’t look at me, I cant drive.”
