Taking the Gre
The Graduate Record Examination has caused nothing but frustration. This is the test you take to get your master's degree. If you've taken this you'll completely agree. I'm up studying for it night after night. It asks a question, and all the choices are right, and you have to choose the best one, after a half hour, my brain is done. I bought a 1000 note cards with one word on each, I knew 3 out of the 1000, did my teachers not teach? No they did, but these are big words that I can't even pronounce, I have a 3.78 GPA in college, but I guess it wasn't where it counts. I go to bed at night and guess what I dream, equations and big words till I scream. I've studied for over 500 hours for this test, and when I get back my final score, I know I'll be depressed. I've tried to hard to let it all fall apart but I am afraid of when the teacher says, “OK, start.” Maybe just some words of encouragement is all I need. But this better get over soon, because my hair line is starting to recede.
