The Wind of Autumn
The wind came barefooted on the grass to play Watch her mood, I will keep my eyes On the rise and swell of her breast You count her powder puffs on the skies Bathroom table, she changes dress To match her mood, she is trembling today O let us embrace her, keep her warm Inside our pockets with our hands Walk in the chilly orchard, taste her charm: Her spice scented bosom, she fans The leaves away, her boredom without delay Turn leaves to gold and then brown Ravage them on the cold forest floor Dried out, she tips away without sound Unspent, my hunger yearns for more Paramour of sky, mistress of the sea, I'm clay A shriveled up bag of rattling bones From flower-like flesh, you leave me One flight of joy is all for the drones Are you allergic to honey, I'm wheezy.
