The Blistering Light Shatters All Dark
In the darkness of the shadows, the ones that creep so softly around the orange lamps of the old alley ways, rumbles a lone traveler looking to find a place to sleep, and up above him lies a girl, staring out her window and wondering things of the world, their paths may never cross but she sees him still, in him she sees something so sullen, something so shrill, he walks along, not a peep from his lips, and not a sound from his steps, he walks along as she wonders how he can walk so endlessly throughout the night, whilst i lay here in bed in comfort, she thinks, in cheap and superficial wonder, they're so far apart yet they're so close and very alike, his everyday is her chaotic fury, her everyday something he only sees in the perimeter, but together they fuel breath, together his steps pull them further away from one another, but the universe has already forced them to be together.
