The Girl On My Mind
There once was a pretty princess who owned the prettiest dress She made all the girls jealous and the boys over-zealous everytime she flashed them a smile ... But there once was a charming young lad who made all the other fellows mad And if ever she cried his heart most surely would die since eyes for her, he'd had quite a while Well This poor lad was in a land far away and that young princess, sadly i say was busy off doing her chores and he grew new sores for he missed her as a mother might miss a child So BIG grew his heart so sad being apart But the boy knew what he had to do so he wrote a little poem for you so you would know of his wit and guile So there he sat, staring happily at her face wishing he was at her place just to hold, hug, and kiss the things he would miss even just to see her smile.
