Mother Nature In All Her Majesty
Massively mighty thunderous rumblings Orchestrate incendiary ‘arcings’; Towering black titans roil, darkly twist, Heart’s lifeblood readied lands shall soon be kissed. Earth’s gales rise, roar, the screaming aether rack, Reel further as seared heaven’s bellow, “Crack!” Nature begins her cleansing cold shower, Animals cower as does each flower. Tumultuous downpourings now begin, Under tin rooves a terrifying din. Raging winds rise, a cacophonous sound, Energized lightning again strikes the ground. Ionization invades lit senses, Negating misplaced hubris’ defenses. Amazed wonder courses through throbbing veins Lost in joy at these life nourishing rains, Lamenting not at this storm’s seeded gains. Humbled by Gaia’s sheer magnificence, Enthralled by her eternal diligence, Rapture overwhelms my intelligence. Molten heat has been balanced by blessed cold; As storm clouds depart twin rainbows stand bold, Jewelled colours sparkle in afternoon skies. Elegant pink starts to tinge sunset’s eyes, Scintillating stars caress heaven’s arch; Towards infinity they onwards march Yielding such beauty a sad soul they parch. Note, utilizing the second last line from "Gully Washer's Whoooshhhhh".
